Incredible how a corporation can improve its valuation very quickly  by listing its shares from the Canadian Venture Stock Exchange to the Toronto Stock Exchange !

Ce midi, à Québec, j'ai eu l'occasion d'assister, à une présentation de monsieur Neil McMillan, President and Chief Executive Officer de Claude Resources.

Voici brièvement quelques points que j'ai retenus:

- L'action de sa société se transigerait en-dessous de sa valeur nette de réalisation;

- Bon potentiel de ressources additionnelles pour leur mine Seabee. Il croit qu'avec une hausse des ressources traitées, la société pourrait baisser le coût (cash) de production d'une once d'or à un niveau plus raisonnable d'au environ 300 $US. Présentement, le coût est plus près de 400 $US. La hausse au cours des derniers mois s'explique principalement par la hausse du prix du carburant et évidemment la hausse de la devise américaine.

- Il était très enthousiaste pour le projet Madsen dans la région de Red Lake en Ontario. Il croit fermemement que ce camp minier pourrait contenir une ressource similaire à celle  obtenue par Goldcorp dans la même région pour sa mine Red Lake.

- Il est possible qu'il se départisse de leurs intérêts dans le secteur pétrolier et gazier qui pourrait représenter une valeur nette de 20 000 000 $. (Personnellement, je conserverais ces propriétés car il s'agit d'un hedge naturel contre la hausse du prix du carburant qui influence négativement leurs coûts de production à la mine Seabee.)

Claude Resources est un titre qui j'ai dans ma mire depuis plusieurs mois. Je vais essayer dans les prochaines semaines de revenir avec une petite analyse fondamentale sur cette société.
